Love or a Hater?

I'll be frank. Matt and I have never actually celebrated a Valentine's Day. It's not that we don't want to. We actually do like each other quite a bit, but somehow Valentine's Day always fills with work or family or other stuff. We're far more likely to go on a long snowy walk on a random Tuesday. Or make dinner on a Saturday and listen to a newly thrifted record.

But if we were to celebrate, this is how I'd want to do it. Below are some low-key and local ways to treat yourself or your person for Valentine's or Galentine's 🖤

Galentine's Small Business Crawl - 2/8
Along with 30+ other downtown businesses, we'll be offering Galentine's fun this Saturday: raspberry mead cocktails, a mead and cider flight paired with Mindo chocolate, and a pop-up from local baker Fragola Forno.

Galentine's with Girls Pint Out - 2/11
Can't make it to the small business crawl? We have another Galentine's event booked on 2/11, hosted by Girls Pint Out. There will be a build-your-own bouquet bar with flowers from Raindance Farm, and a DIY valentine station. All are welcome.

Valentine's Day - 2/14
Love it or hate it? For the lovers, Raindance Farm will be set up from 6-8pm with the most lovely flowers from their farm so you can build a bouquet ($20+, includes flowers and jar). Hate the day? We'll be releasing our annual batch of Sour Cherry Cider - Valentine's snark in a glass.

Curious Coffee Pop-Up - Thurs-Sun
Curious Coffee will be featuring a blend of two coffees during his pop-up next week. Strawberries and chocolate: what a combination! Sweet, rich and complex. Tasting notes of chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, fig, lime and more.
