Are you curious about the wonderful world of flavors that coffee has to offer? In this hands-on session with Mike Bawden, owner of Curious Coffee, you will try different coffees with very different flavor profiles. We will experience first-hand the role that origin, processing and roasting have on coffee. If you’ve never done comparative tasting before, you’re in for a real sensory adventure! We will look at where your preferences lie, so you know what to look for when you’re next in a coffeeshop or buying coffee to brew at home, and we’ll work on describing what we’re tasting. This session is perfect for all those who enjoy coffee and are curious to find out more about it.

The workshop will take place in the Bløm Mead + Cider taproom. Bløm crafts dry, carbonated, sessionable meads and ciders with ingredients sourced from local Michigan farmers and producers.
