A Holiday Note

This has been a year of exploration. Setting our sights high, being okay with failure, being okay with slow progress. Celebrating the wins. Narrating our successes and failures to our five year old. So the message that failure is important sinks deep down into that curious brain.

It’s been a year of slowing the hustle in some ways. Finding other measuring sticks to value our time spent beyond outputs. Without financial reward, it’s easy for tireless work to quietly slide into place as the new emblem of success. But for this year, at least, balance has been the marker of a job well done. I owe that in large part to @crfty, who has encouraged us to free our minds and time for new projects.

Thank you to the farmers, partners, team and community who made this year’s work possible and meaningful. We don’t take lightly that we can truly say we’re looking forward to another year of Bløm.
