We’re back at it with #muddledmondays from home! This week we’re mixing up a simple Radler-style mead cocktail - it’s really light, low alc, so great for spring and summer. The recipe was created by Tammy of Tammy’s Tastings. So get out your muddlers and let's mix it up.⁠ ⁠

THE MEADLER
Makes 1 cocktail⁠

  • 8oz Bløm Hopped Mead⁠

  • 3.5 oz grapefruit juice (if you’re squeezing fresh, 1 grapefruit should be enough)

  • 0.25 cup sugar

  • 1 thyme sprig (or swap in rosemary)

  • Make a thyme simple syrup - mix .25 cup sugar with .25 cup of water and add thyme sprig (you can make a larger batch if you want. Use 1:1 sugar to water ratio and add more thyme sprigs). Heat on stove over medium high and stir until all sugar is dissolved. Leave to cool for 25 min then remove thyme. Combine 0.5oz thyme simple syrup and 3.5oz grapefruit juice in 12oz glass. Top with 8oz Hopped Mead.
